专业执照披露

Baldwin Wallace 大学 offers several programs leading to 专业 licensure within the State of Ohio. States vary in what 职业 they require to be licensed and how licensure is acquired. Some states require an individual to graduate from an 认证 program. Others require 个人 to obtain additional 课程, additional fieldwork, background checks, passage of additional state licensing exams, additional fees, or other 需求.

认证 Statement

As an 机构, Baldwin Wallace 大学 is 认证 by the Higher Learning 委员会 (HLC), an 独立的 公司 that was founded in 1895 as one of six regional 机构 授信人 in the United States. Many individual programs have additional specific 认证评估.

State 授权

Baldwin Wallace 大学 is a member of the National Council for State 授权 互惠 Agreement (NC-SARA), which allows us to provide distance learning programs and coursework to residents of states other than Ohio. NC-SARA 会员, however, does not grant 互惠 or exempt us from state 专业 licensing 需求. As a result, licensing 需求 in Ohio may not be recognized as sufficient to obtain a license in any other state.

Should a student relocate during the course of a program to another state, it may impact the student's ability to remain in the program, meet the state licensure 需求, and/or continue to receive financial aid funding. Prior to 考虑 搬迁, please contact your program to discuss 授权 and licensure 资格 需求.

国际 Students

Prior to enrolling in any program at Baldwin Wallace 大学, 未来的 students living and/or working outside of the United States should confirm with the 适当的 certifying agency whether successful 完成 of any degree program at Baldwin Wallace 大学 will meet the 的认证 需求 of the country in which they intend to seek 就业, as to certain types of employment or for 先进的/专业 教育 programs.

The curriculum for programs 通常 leading to licensure at Baldwin Wallace 大学 have been designed to meet the 许可/认证 需求 in Ohio as well as preparing students to apply for licensure exams in the State of Ohio. The licensure boards in each state are 负责任的 for 建立 the 需求 for 许可/认证 for their state. Students who intend to return or move to any state other than Ohio need to review the 专业 licensure 披露的信息 pertaining to their program and consult with the state 专业 licensing board. The state 专业 licensing boards make the ultimate decision as to whether or not an individual will be eligible for licensure based on the rules and 规定 in place at the time the individual submits their 应用程序 for licensure.
